Tara-Brigitte Bhavnani

A professional ballet dancer of Canadian-Indian heritage, Tara has been performing with the Royal Ballet for over 15 years. She has toured all around the world dancing in some of the most famous opera houses but is primarily based at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London where she has performed over 2000 times.

Whilst still performing, Tara has gained two teaching qualifications as Associate with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and as an honours graduate of The Royal Ballet School’s Professional Dancers’ Teachers Course. Renowned for her love of the art form and her knowledge of the classical technique, Tara is a popular teacher amongst both newcomers and seasoned dancers and is often invited to present at dance seminars at home and abroad.

She has most recently branched out into social media where she presents her own YouTube channel, sharing her life experiences and giving an insight into life as a professional ballerina. Please visit for more information or to get in contact!

David Beer

David started dancing at the age of 3 and in his years of training has studied everything from classical ballet, in a variety of styles including Cecchetti, Russian and Balanchine, to jazz, tap, a whole plethora of Contemporary and Modern dance techniques, drama, speech, singing and even story telling. 

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Theatre from Trinity `Laban and also enriched his training with time spent dancing in America, where he started his professional performance career with Burlyn Ballet Theatre and Kim Robards Dance, touring all over the USA performing in many theatres  including he Joyce Soho in New York. He has also presented his own work with Collisions Dance Company, which he founded in 2008 and toured its work to many major cities in the UK and has also performed with companies such as Gleich Dances, Aegis Live Arts, Secret Cinema and Cirque Bijou. David now works with Chantry Dance Company;  a professional theatrical contemporary ballet company, as Assistant Director and is also one of the core tutors for Chantry School of the Contemporary and Balletic Arts, the company's full time vocational training course.

His teaching brings together his wide range of training to create classes which work on developing co-ordination, technique, fitness and an understanding of how the body works, in a way that is exciting, focused and creative. Whether you attend classes for fun or with an aim to pursue a career in the arts you will take away new skills and great memories!

Laura Wan

Laura Wan-Bennett is Principal of Studio 88 School of Performing Arts which she founded in 2006 after many years of professional work  


Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts specialising in Dance, a diploma in Musical Theatre and is a fully qualified ISTD  dance teacher.


Studio 88 School of Performing Arts is a fun and professional ISTD dance school offering

Ballet, Tap and Modern classes as well as Musical Theatre and private singing lessons with a West End performer. 

Studio 88 has specialised pre-school movement Ballet/Tap classes for children aged 

2yrs - 6yrs and also offers Adult tap lessons. 

ISTD examinations available and dance shows tri- annually.

Jane Wake
Top fitness professional Jane Wake is one of the most highly qualified, inspirational and respected talents in the fitness arena. Voted No.1 fitness expert by The Independent in 2003, she is now the most  recognised fitness expert in the UK and has been appearing on the Lorraine show, ITV1 since June 2011. Jane has been running her own Health & Fitness consultancy, Body A-Wake, since 1993.

With a background in sports science, Pilates, pre/postnatal exercise and personal training spanning over 27 years, there isn’t much Jane doesn’t know about when it comes to fitness. She has created numerous innovative exercise brands including her pre/postnatal Programme Baby A-Wake and more recently Pilates Flow.

Natalie Reid

Natalie Reid is founder and owner of Natty Little Yogis.

Her background in education and a degree in Performing Arts combined with a dedicated yoga practice since 2011, led her to train and set up Natty Little Yogis – a Yoga practice specialising in Yoga for children and teens.     She feels that children face more academic and social pressures than ever before. In addition, adolescents  often have to navigate overwhelming physical and mental developments.

Practicing yoga and mindfulness on a regular basis, has a proven significant positive impact on physical and mental well-being for all ages.

Natalie is passionate about children’s and teen Yoga. Having qualified as a (200hrs) RYT in Sivananda Hatha Yoga, she is also fully qualified in teaching children’s Yoga through Special Yoga Foundation as well as the TeenYoga Foundation.

Natalie, as a parent of two children, fully understands the pressures they face. She has seen first hand, the benefits of practising Yoga and Mindfulness from an early age: improved concentration and communication, confident self-expression and physical and emotional well-being.

Natty Little Yogis runs regular small group sessions for children and teenagers at Indigo Light Studios.

Ann Wilson

Ann is a qualified Yoga Teacher RYT 200, certified with Yoga Alliance.

Her teaching style is Vinyasa Flow, focusing on breath awareness and body alignment.   This method of teaching will help you to gain strength, flexibility, release stress and find a general sense of wellbeing.


Ann believes that Yoga is so much more and that everyone should make it part of their everyday life.  Living the busy stressful lives we all do these days, with the physical body suffering with the un-balance of everyday life we need Yoga to re-balance the left and right side of the body so that we can develop harmony in the body and create that much needed space in the mind.


Yoga is accessible to everyone, so Ann invites you to grab your mat and join her for some ‘me time’ for a fun, challenging Vinyasa Flow class suitable for all levels. Ann welcomes and encourages everyone from absolute beginners right through to advanced levels of practice. 

And if you think Yoga is slow and boring, you haven’t practised Vinyasa Flow!!

Alex Bolton

Alex has been practising karate for over 20 years and was recently awarded her 4th Dan black belt. 12 years ago Alex became a professional karate instructor and has been teaching ever since.  She is also a Paramedic Rescue "Appointed Person", a member of Sports Coach UK and has current CRB checks.

Apart from teaching Alex competed for many years on the European Karate Circuit and represented England at European and International Level.  She regularly visits Okinawa and Taiwan to continue developing her skill and pursue her interest in other martial arts including Tai Chi, Chi Gung and Kobudo.

Anthony Simonds

Anthony has been a Personal Trainer for over 15 years, training individuals from the age of 8 to 80. His vast experience and unique methods can help anyone to achieve their goals. He is also a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Mark Foster Swim Academy.

Anthony is a former amateur cyclist and has a great passion for all sports.
He specialises in a number of different fitness areas including:

rehabilitation,  weight loss,  strength training and training for events.
